The La Plata Food Equity Coalition has spent the past 3 years collaborating with county residents to address the most commonly reported root cause issues that impact access to nutritious food: lack of language justice, childcare, financial security, power & belonging, culturally-relevant food access, and financial security. We are hosting our interactive Show & Tell event to present the exciting progress we have made and seek advice on our next steps with our fellow community members, change-makers, advocates, and supporters. Let’s tackle the root causes of food insecurity in our community together!
