Listening Session, 1-2:30: Policy & Funding

How can the governing policies we have in place in La Plata County support our food system goals and outcomes? How can we leverage this to drive funding to support those same goals & outcomes?  

If you have an interest in local policy and funding mechanisms, please attend this focus group to share your perspective and help shape the future of our food system! 

This will be a 90-minute online focus group that’s open to all.  Findings will help shape La Plata County’s first ever Food Systems Plan, which will create a 5 year roadmap for non-profits, local government, institutions, residents, and businesses like farmers and ranchers to address food security, promote sustainable agriculture, and improve access to healthy, locally sourced food in our community.
