what we do
The Food Business Workgroup supports economic opportunity and financial security by building and sustaining a food business ecosystem that is welcoming and inclusive of minority-owned businesses, including BIPOC and rural entrepreneurs.

Our group contains representatives from La Plata County Public Health Department, City of Durango, Local First, SCAPE, Manna, First Southwest Community Fund, Rocky Mountain Microfinance Institute, CSU Extension, and Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center, Durango Farmers Market, Smart Business LLC, Dorado Consulting & Bookkeeping, and Luv Tempeh
